What is ExcursionWorld?
  • • ExcursionWorld was created with the sole purpose of linking travelers, vacationers and cruise ship passengers looking for tours, excursions and activities with tour providers located at their next destination.
  • • ExcursionWorld let customers find detailed information and pricing on a large variety of tours, excursions and activities offered by very small to very large tour providers in an open market setting.
What am I going to find on ExcursionWorld?
  • Any kind of vacation activities, sportive adventures, water tours, sightseeing, etc.
  • Choices… Lots of choices! Since everybody and anybody who offers some kind of vacation related activity can register on our site, some activities can only be found here.
  • Detailed information… Lots of it!

What am I not going to find on ExcursionWorld?
  • ExcursionWorld is for tours, excursions and activities only.
  • Car rental, hotel accommodations (unless part of a tour), airline tickets (unless part of a tour). ExcursionWorld will offers links to other partners where such information can be found be will not sell them.
How does it work?
  • Find your dream vacation activity by using our “Search Tours” tool and reading the detailed information available.
  • Tell us when you want to go and your contact information and we will send a booking request to the tour operator providing your selected activity.
  • The tour provider will directly contact you by email with more information regarding the activity, the amount for the deposit (if required) and anything else relevant to ensure that you have a great time.
  • All tours, excursions and activities available on ExcursionWorld are priced equally or less to the price available directly with the tour provider. You do not pay for using our service or pay more for the activities.
How do I find tours, excursions and activities?
  • Start searching for your next vacation activity by selecting your destination in our “Search Tours” tool located to the right of your windows or by browsing by country.
  • Optionally, you can include the country, the exact location where you are going, what type of activity you are looking for and the price range. The more information you will select in the search tool, the more precise will be your result set. Less selected options will give you more results.
  • The result page will provide you with some basic information and a link to the full description.
How did ExcursionWorld find these tour providers?
  • ExcursionWorld offers its services to tour providers of all size wanting to reach more customers through the digital medium.
  • ExcursionWorld has already contacted many well known tour providers worldwide and keeps adding new one every week.
  • All tour providers are required to register with us by providing us with their business contact information and location. A short description of their organization is also required.
  • Even if all tour descriptions, prices, photos and schedules are created and updated by the tour providers themselves, everything is reviewed by an ExcursionWorld staff member before it goes online. Note: Since all tour providers are not natively English speaking, you may encounter some “less than perfect” English phrases. Please be understanding.
How much does it cost?
  • $0.00, Zero, Nada! Our service is free for anyone looking for information and when making booking request. Only tour providers are charged a small fee per ticket sold. This amount is not to be passed to the customers by increasing the selling price.
Can I cancel my booking?
  • It depends. Since ExcursionWorld is not making the actual booking but only forwarding your request to the appropriate tour provider, it will depend on the cancellation policy of that tour provider. The pricing and deposit policies are always displayed with each tour description.
I need more information. Can I contact the tour provies directly?
  • Yes! Each tour descriptions have a link that allows you to get in touch directly with the tour provider.
Can ExcursionWorld send me a brochure?
  • No, all the information available is only available on the website. No printed material is available. This way our information is always up to date and is fully available online.
How do I know if my booking request was received by the tour providers?
  • Upon making your booking request, you will receive a confirmation that your booking request was sent (note: this is not a booking confirmation!).
  • The tour provider is required to accept or refuse your booking request within 48 hours. At which point you will receive the actual booking confirmation.
Do I need a credit card to use ExcursionWorld?
  • No! You will not need any mean of payment to use ExcursionWorld since our service is free.
  • Once the booking request sent, the tour provider will contact you with more information including how to pay for your deposit, if required.
  • In order to protect you from online fraud, ExcursionWorld would like to discourage anyone from sending any credit card information by email or by using our online forms. Please use a secure method like phone, fax, money transfer and even Western Union.
