Depart from Underberg, KZN, South Africa at 09h30 travel for two and a half hours stopping for view sites and historical points enroute. After clearing the South African border post at 1967 meters above sea level, we travel a further 8 kilometers and climb 1000 meters before reaching the Lesotho border post at 2873 meters above sea level. Continue on to the village of Skierring for a home visit. Sample the local home brewed beer and home made mountain bread. Learn about the the Basotho culture, building methods of this hardy mountain people • Lunch is taken at the Sani Top Chalet before returning to South Africa.
