It is beleived that in 8th century a saint visited this place riding on a tigress and spent some time meditating. Since then the place is recognised as sacred place in Bhutan where many famous historical Bhuddhist practioner came here for meditation. Beside this you will be visiting the only Capital city without traffic lights, the Capital of Bhutan and a few Fortress built in early 17th century. The beauty of this trip is added by the Druk Air the national airlines Flying you very close to the highest mountain in the world like Mt. Food and menu information
The food served is continental and vegeterian food is served upon preinformation. The food consists of minimum six dishes for dinner and lunch and is strictly controlled by Government in all Hotels and restaurants for tourism.
