Tour Provider Information Established in 1976, Kootenay River Runners offers exhilarating whitewater trips on the mighty Kicking Horse River, family rafting on the wild and scenic Kootenay River and Toby Creek, and interpretive float trips on the Columbia River • Trips are easily accessed from Calgary, Banff, Lake Louise, Golden, Radium Hot Springs, and the Columbia Valley. The season starts mid May and continues until mid September.
