River Valley Stables full day trail ride (5 -6 hours), is the most demanding trail riding that we do. The trail ride again starts off with introductions to mounts and checking of equipment. The ride itself varies upon weather conditions. If the day is looking okay, then the trail ride will be to the top of Pukeokahu (1000 metres - 3300' - above sea level). Many of the trails are steep, so previous trail riding experience is important. However the views again from the top are incredible - you will just have to take our word for it and check them out yourself! Make sure to take your camera • Previous riding experience is required • Refreshments and lunch are provided. Full day Trail Rides are not available from the 1st May to 30th September.

Pricing and deposit policy: We require credit card information by phone or fax to secure the booking. Cancellations within 48 hrs will be charged 50%. No shows will be charged full rate. We reserve the right to cancel or amend trip details if conditions are deemed to be unsafe, or clients unsuitable for the demands of the activity.
