
This is a 2 day raft trip with a stay at a beautiful 19th century farm house .On day one you float from Paris to Brantford with your guide pointing intersting things along the way ie sites of old native villages abandoned mines etc . Day 2 we float along and stop at a trail that leads to the Bell homestead , home of Alexander Graham Bell the inventer of the telephone . Here we will tour the home and see the beginning stages of the invention of the phone and a snapshot of how people live in the 1800's .Next we float along to the end of the rafting part of the excursion
and then go to Kanata a 17th century Mohawk Village Here we will see a longhouse built exactly as they were 200 yrs ago and see people in period costume ( optional )
