Discover the food, wine, and culture of this wonderful region, known as the "green heart" of Italy (www.cookinumbria.it) Day 1.Arrive in Perugia in the country farm "La volpe e l'uva" Day 2.Montefalco and Bevagna Hands-on cooking class starts 10am. You will prepare a lunch that you will eat at the end of the class, with our wines. The wine tour is in the Caprai winery (Sagrantino di Montefalco DOCGS) and in the medioeval city of Bevagna. Day 3.Assisi Hands-on cooking class starts around 10am. In the excursion you will visit the mystical city of Assisi. The tour will allow to get to know the main landmarks where st. Francis lived. Day 4.Orvieto Hands-on cooking class starts around 10am. In the excursion you will visit the town Orvieto. Day 5 - Departure

Let's Cook in Umbria offers unique package itineraries for groups from 2 up to 10 persons in Central Italy. Our tours include visits to well-known cities in Umbria and Tuscany but also to many less frequented towns and villages off the usual tourist itinerary. In each tour there will be time for a culinary experience with wonderful cooking lessons in the farm!In the cooking classes pasta, pizza, gnocchi are homemade, the olive oil and the wine are produced from the farm's own trees. We will teach you traditional Italian techniques of cooking and its history. You will have accomodation in the apartments of the farmhouse "La volpe e l'uva" in Perugia. It is in the beautiful heart of the Umbria valley, sourronded by 10 hectares of olive groves, vineyards and fruit trees.
